
What is Life Coaching?
Very often, people find that a part or parts of their life have developed without any real plan or goal. You may
have just drifted into your present job through a series of
coincidences or because of circumstances. You may find that you have
lost the fun and optimism you used to have about life in general. You
may have been through a traumatic time and have come out at the other
side without any direction.
Life coaching is a process where you rediscover your dreams, find
your goals, your true purpose and make a plan so you can take action. This can seem like a daunting thought,
but with a supportive coach beside you to encourage you and focus you,
the process can be as fast or as gentle as you need.
How We Will Work Together
At
our first meeting, we will get to know each other and make sure that we
can work well together. If you are comfortable, we will discuss which
aspects of your life you would like to improve. We will arrange to meet
again, and I will give you a small task to complete before you come. At
the next meeting we will rediscover what it is you really love, and
begin the process of changing the part of your life you want to make
better.
You will find that the more you think about and work on
tasks between meetings, the faster change will happen. The tasks
themselves are fun and interesting, perhaps completing a
questionnaire, maybe observing yourself in a different way.
You
will never have to do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, and
each
session is planned around your own special needs and requirements. At
the end of the process you will be starting to live the life you have
chosen for yourself.
